This National Center for Excellence in Primary Care Research (NCEPCR) report (PDF, 3.9 MB) is the second comprehensive review of AHRQ’s recent investments in primary care research – covering federal fiscal years (FYs) 2023 and 2024. The purpose of this report is to showcase AHRQ’s broad and deep investments in primary care, and to share information that may be useful for primary care researchers and clinicians.

The report includes an update on the activities of AHRQ’s NCEPCR during FYs 2023 and 2024, an analysis across AHRQ’s portfolio of primary care research grants and contracts during this period, and short summaries of primary care research grants and relevant resources – organized by topic area.
