This webcast provided an overview of the Center for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) Patient Safety Structural Measure (PSSM) and how the ÂÜÀòÊÓÆµSurveys on Patient Safety Culture® (³§°¿±Ê³§Â®) Hospital Survey, as well as a shorter SOPS pulse survey version, can be used to meet requirements for Domain 3: Culture of Safety & Learning Health Systems.

About the Surveys on Patient Safety Culture
The Surveys on Patient Safety Culture are a suite of surveys that assess provider and staff opinions about patient safety culture in hospitals, outpatient medical offices, nursing homes, community pharmacies, and ambulatory surgery centers. The patient safety culture surveys program at the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality (AHRQ) supports the development and promotion of patient safety culture surveys, resources, and databases, and provides technical assistance to users.
